Meet Our Presenter

  Shara M. Brofman, PsyD is a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice in Larchmont, New York, and virtually in New York state, specializing in reproductive mental health. In addition to her clinical work, she teaches educational workshops and provides consultation services. Dr. Brofman has trained and worked in public, private, inpatient, and outpatient settings across the Greater New York Area over the past 16 years. She also built, together with Dr. Athan, and taught a master's level course on perinatal mental health at Teachers College, Columbia University. Dr. Brofman is a member of several national and local professional organizations, and has been an active member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine Mental Health Professional Group since 2011. Dr. Brofman has also served as faculty and as an advisory board member for past annual Jones Foundation Infertility Counseling Conferences.
