Meet Our Presenter

Praise Iyiewuare, PhD, MPH

  

Praise Iyiewuare, PhD, MPH (she/her) is a clinical psychologist and postdoctoral researcher at the University of Kentucky. She is based in Philadelphia, PA. She earned her PhD at the University of Vermont and completed her predoctoral internship at the University of Pennsylvania. Her research and clinical work focuses on the intersection between trauma and pleasure for Black women as related to mental, sexual and reproductive health. She is currently leading the ART for Hope Expansion Project, which seeks to understand the experiences of Black female same-sex couples who have used assisted reproductive technology for family building and reside in either Pennsylvania or the DC, Maryland and Virginia area.
